Philosophy
Art is Love & to Live is to Create.
Love’s first love was art. She used it as a means to express herself as well as create the world she wanted around her. Now, as an adult, she brings a lifelong learning (backed by formal art education) to her tattoo chair.
Speaking of her chair, she makes sure all are welcome to sit in it. Inclusivity and creating a safe space for her clients to feel seen and heard is paramount to her craft. She knows exactly how it feels to be marginalized within the tattoo community and knew that there was an entire community who felt as she did. Seeking to create beautiful art and provide an exemplary experience for her client’s, she is also changing the culture of the tattoo community at large, one session at a time.

I flew from Los Angeles to Maryland just to work with Artizmylove/Love. It was well worth the trip. She created an amazing piece of work based off some loose concepts I gave her. It’s pretty amazing how large of a piece with so much detail she’s able to accomplish in such a short time (my upper arm is now filled from shoulder to elbow in just an 8hr session). In addition to her skill, she also makes sure you are comfortable, checks in often and is just a solid person. Highly suggest if she has a rare opening, you grab it and invest in a high-quality piece. You won’t regret it.

TYPE OF WORK
Love specializes in a few styles of art: realism, portraiture, Polynesian tribal, and colorful floral tattoos. She beautifully marries her formal education, masters in fine art, with her unique approach to tattooing. If you are looking for larger pieces, Love is the tattoo artist for you. She creates works of art on her clients’ skin with a quality that will last a lifetime.
Love also specializes in tattooing melanated skin as well as teaching other artists how to tattoo people of color. This is important as there is an underrepresentation of Black Tattoo Artists and those with the knowledge and skill to tattoo those within our community.

ONLINE BOOKING PROCESS
Before you are able to book a session, a consultation is required. This 30-minute Google Meet is $100 and acts as a deposit that goes toward your tattoo costs if we move forward with bookings after the consultation. If not, it is REFUNDED back to you.
APPOINTMENT
HOW IT WORKS
Begin With Consultation
There is a $100 refundable consultation fee. If we proceed with the work, it goes toward your piece; if we don't, it is refunded back to you after the call.
BOOK SESSION
After our virtual consultation, you are able to then move forward, if agreed upon by both parties, with booking the tattoo sitting as discussed during consult.

We want to have as much information as possible about the vision you want to create. We take pride in our work and want you permanent art to be what YOU want.
Learn to tattoo
Are you an aspiring artist desiring to create art that will last lifetimes, or maybe a current tattoo artist who is looking to elevate your skills?
You are invited to learn from Love, the resident artist and owner of Artizmylov Tattoo Studio. Although she does not currently work with apprentices in the studio, she does offer a 150 hour training course, coming in phases Summer 2023.
